Flexystaff rebrands as FlexyMarketing - February 2010

 

After nearly a year in business, we are finding that the majority of projects we work on are marketing-based, and so to make our offering clearer we are rebranding as FlexyMarketing. We still offer the full range of admin and office support as previously, but FlexyMarketing better describes our marketing experience and expertise. It does what it says on the tin ..... flexible marketing!

 

Flexystaff launch new Networking Meeting in Buntingford -

As there was no networking meeting in Buntingford, we thought we'd start one!

 

Held on the last Thursday of the month at 9am in The Buntingford Coffee Shop, this is an informal meeting with the opportunity to introduce your business to others in the local area.

 

The dates for the next few meetings are:

Wouldn’t we all like a few more hours in the day? And who hasn’t wished time could stand still? Now it is possible due to two local women who are looking to become the latest ‘mumpreneurs’, and starting their own business, offering freelance marketing and administrative support to local businesses – allowing them the ability to buy more time.

 

Fiona Tomkins and Nicola Ferguson first met while working in Marketing for a drinks retailer. They each have over 12 years’ experience of all aspects of Marketing, working for retailers, consumer goods manufacturers and online businesses.  Both Fiona and Nicola have taken time out to concentrate on their children, but are now looking to combine family with their careers.

 

Flexible staffing allows small businesses to run more efficiently, as staffing costs are often the biggest chunk of the overall cost of running a business. Flexystaff can provide an extra pair of hands, without the hassle and expense of recruiting a permanent employee. Flexystaff can be hired for an hour, half a day, a whole day or a week so that businesses only pay for the hours they need, saving them money. Flexystaff can provide one-off cover or regular hours … holiday, maternity or sickness cover, in the workplace or externally.
